Common Questions
Is RxDiff free to use?
Yes. Comparing prescription prices and using the RxDiff discount card at the pharmacy is completely free — no account, no insurance, and no hidden fees of any kind.
How does the RxDiff discount card work?
Search for your medication, compare prices at pharmacies near you, and show the free RxDiff discount card at checkout. Works at 70,000+ pharmacies nationwide, including CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Costco, Kroger, and most independent pharmacies.
The price at the pharmacy didn't match what RxDiff showed. What do I do?
Pharmacy prices can occasionally differ from what we display, especially if prices have updated since our last sync. Email us at support@rxdiff.com with the details and we'll investigate. Make sure the pharmacist entered the discount card BIN, PCN, and Group numbers exactly as shown.
Can I use RxDiff with my insurance?
Yes — you can compare RxDiff's cash price against your insurance copay and choose whichever is lower. The RxDiff discount card is used instead of insurance at the pharmacy. Some patients save more with RxDiff than their insurance copay, particularly on generic medications.
My medication isn't on RxDiff. Can you add it?
RxDiff covers 3,500+ medications. If you can't find yours, email us the medication name and we'll do our best to add pricing for it. Some very new brand-name medications may not yet be available.
Does RxDiff work for controlled substances?
Yes, RxDiff can display prices for Schedule II–V controlled substances at participating pharmacies. However, not all pharmacies participate for controlled medications — availability varies by location.
