How RxDiff Prices Work

RxDiff shows you real cash prices for prescription medications at nearby pharmacies, so you can compare and find the lowest price before you fill a prescription.

What we use to generate a price:

  • Drug name and form — the exact medication, strength, and quantity your prescription calls for
  • Your location — pharmacy prices vary by zip code, so we show results near you
  • Live pricing data — prices are pulled from participating pharmacy networks and refreshed regularly to reflect current discount card rates

How refreshes work:

Prices can change day to day based on pharmacy and wholesaler updates. We refresh our data regularly, but the price you're quoted online is an estimate — always confirm the final price with the pharmacist at checkout.

What RxDiff can't verify:

We can't guarantee real-time inventory, insurance coordination, or pharmacy-specific promotions that aren't reflected in our data feed. Prices shown are for the discount card / cash-pay price, not insurance copays — if you have insurance, compare your copay against our cash price to see which is lower.

How we make money:

RxDiff is free to use. When you fill a prescription using one of our coupons, the pharmacy or program may pay us a referral fee. This does not change the price you pay, and no pharmacy pays us to be ranked higher in results.
